This policy explains what personal data the NoobWars website (noobwars.gr) collects, why, and what your rights are. It covers this website and its newsletter. Our game servers and forum on the l2., mu., noobcraft. and forum. subdomains have their own accounts and rules.
Who is responsible

What we collect and why
Newsletter (L2 Awakening updates). When you sign up we collect:
- your email address;
- the date and time you gave consent;
- the IP address you signed up from, as proof of consent;
- where you signed up (e.g. the coming-soon page).
We use this only to send you development progress, launch news and server announcements you asked for. Sign-up is double opt-in: you are added to the list only after you click the link in our confirmation email.
Abuse protection. To stop automated sign-ups, the form temporarily stores a one-way hash of your IP address for up to one hour. It is not used for anything else.
Server logs. Like every website, our hosting server records technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) to keep the site secure and working.
Legal basis
- Newsletter: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time.
- Abuse protection and server logs: our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who processes your data
Our newsletter is run on Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which stores and sends emails on our behalf as a data processor. Brevo may record whether an email was delivered, opened or a link was clicked, so we can see whether our updates reach you. See Brevo’s own privacy policy for details and its sub-processors. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Sign-ups that are never confirmed are removed periodically.
- Abuse-protection hashes: up to one hour.
- Server logs: for a limited period, as kept by our hosting provider for security.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and our fonts are served from our own server, not a third party. WordPress sets strictly necessary cookies only for logged-in administrators. If we ever add analytics, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email us. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
Age
The newsletter is intended for people aged 15 and over. If you are younger, please ask a parent or guardian before signing up.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
